Scroll one page in two-page view?

Is there anyway of making Acrobat Reader scroll one page at a time when in two-page view - effectiverly scrolling horizontally?

I use it extensively for viewing technical documents and often the situation arises where there is text on page 5 for example and a diagram or table referenced in the text is on page 6 but there appears to be no way to view pages 5 %26amp; 6 side-by-side.

You can switch between different views with the menu View %26gt; Page Display %26gt; Show Cover Page During Two-Up
