I open a new document in letter size, the rulers indicate 8.5 x 11, but the document is approx. 8.5 x 8.5. View in Actual Siae, When printing vertical dimension is stretched to letter size. Cant figure this out. Thanks - New User

Are you saying the screen image is distorted? Is that true in other applications as well? You'd see something like that if you are using the wrong aspect ratio in the video driver for the shape of your screen, i.e. a widescreen resolution on an older standard monitor, or vice versa. This is a common probelm on old computers with new widescreen flatpanels. The old hardware often doesn't support the correct monitor resolution.

If the problem is restricted to ID, you may need to update the video drivers.

Your monitors are not set properly. There's no way a 22'' widescreen monitor has a native resolution of 1280x1024.

It's more likely to be 1680x1050 which would put the three at 5040x1050.
