Cant See my Brushes

Put the brushes in your user profile folder. I am using Windows 7 RC and I noticed that when i saved a brush i made PS put it in ''c:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4\Presets\Brushes\''

(The user profile folder)

I guess there is where you should put your brushes. If you are using Vista i guess the folder structure is about the same. (i have never used vista)

Acually doing this doesnt help. You can place your brushes anywhere in any folder. Open edit%26gt; preset manager%26gt; brushes%26gt; load

then browse to your brushes and select. its done ::)

Thanks for responding guys

Bekill:

I did put the Brushes inside the preset folder. Iam using XP.

c:\program files\ Adobe\ Adobe Photoshop CS4\ Presets\ Brushes

Thats how i routed my brushes.

CyberxTremer:

there is where iam having the problem.

(Edit%26gt;Preset Manager%26gt;Load Brushes)

When I click on Load Brushes, No brushes appear in the folder

even though thats where i placed all the brushes. i dont understand

why this is happening.?This problem never occured when i was running CS2.

Any solutions?

Mate, load brushes, then browse to the directory containing the brushes and select. Thats all everything works fine. what is the file format in which the format in which the brushes are saved ? maybe its a compressed one like rar or zip that might not be accessible
