Okay so here is a short video tutorial i've made to make a sillhouette from an image in less than 5 seconds. Well there are various other short methods, but they arent applicable for all images.

Wow, that was so easy. Even I didn't fail following your instruction. Thank you for sharing this information. Before your tutorial, I had to spend nearly two hours tracing the outline of the photo.
