I understand you can configure some settings on 64bit Windows machines to make Flash run in 64 bit browsers but I don't think Joe average user will want to mess with that. A lot of people weitched over to 64bit OS's with Vista and with Windows 7 64 bit should become mainstream.?If Adobe can't adjust then Silverlight will take it's place.?I've spent a lot of time and effort over the last 7 months learning actionscript 3 I hope it wasn't just a big mental exercise.

Adobe has an article here on Labs that's, unfortunately, likely to further irritate you.?The short answer on a 64-bit Flash player seems to be: sometime in the future - I guess I'll mark my calendar.
I agree with you wholeheartedly: I don't want to have to learn Silverlight, either.
